How to add Wyze Cam to Blue Iris

For the Wyze Cam

  1. Open the Wyze app and click on the settings gear icon at top
  2. Click on “Advanced Settings”.
  3. Go to the RTSP section and turn on the RTSP protocol
  4. Generate the RTSP URL and crete a username and password

For Blue Iris

  1. Click to add a new camera and give it a name
  2. Enter the Wyze camera RTSP username and password
  3. Open the camera properties video tab
  4. Select “Network IP” and click on "Configure..."
  5. On the top left Change the protocol from HTTP to RTSP
  6. Chose "Wyze" as the make and the RTSP protocol
  7. Enter "/live" in the path field
  8. Check the box "Send RTSP keep-alives"

And it's done. Now you can check if the camera is alive on Blue Iris.
