Use the Blink phone App and follow the steps below:

  • Open App on your mobile phone;
  • Go to Camera Settings > Status LED > Recording;
  • Toggle the button to the OFF position.

    The process is different for the Blink XT and XT2 and involves a physical interaction with the camera to turn the Recording LED switch to the OFF position. I'm talking about opening the camera to turn the blue LED OFF.

    You can use a reset needle, paper clip, or tweezers to move the switch.

  • Remove the camera cover;
  • Move the Rec LED to the OFF position;
  • Insert the cover back to the camera.
  • And it's done. The blue LED won't bother you anymore.

    OK, the Blink Mini requires you just to use your mobile phone.

    Here's the step-by-step to disable the Blue LED.

  • Launch the Blink app on your mobile phone.
