The requirements

To use the Google Assistant with Swann you need to meet these requirements.

  1. Have a Swann security camera
  2. Have a Google Account
  3. A device such as Google Home or Google Mini
  4. Use a Google Chromecast (to display on the TV)
  5. Use a Google Home Hub

The concept is very simple, you need to have your cameras working with the Swann app and the link the accounts (Google + Swann) and once this is done you can ask Google to display the video stream on the device you want.

Add the Swann camera to the Google Home

Use your mobile phone to add the cameras following these steps.

  1. Open the Google Home app
  2. Click the (+) icon
  3. Click "Set up device"
  4. Click "Have something already set up?"
  5. Click "Safe by Swann"
  6. Login to the Swann account
  7. Choose the location for the cameras

Command the cameras using your voice
