Are you looking for the Samsung DVR default password ?
Well, my friend, you are in the right place. I worked as a Samsung security camera engineer and helped lots of people reset the DVR and access the device.
Samsung manufactures different lines of equipment, and sometimes you can't use a default password. Please read this article to understand better what I mean.
The Samsung DVR default password
You can use a default password only for old devices with outdated firmware.
Here's the list of the default credentials.
Username: root password: admin
Username: admin password: 1111111
Username: admin password: 4321
As I said before, that should work for old and discontinued devices. You need to reset them to factory default in order to use such credentials.
You can find devices branded as Samsung, Wisenet, and Samsung Techwin since the company manufactures different lines of security systems for the professional and consumer market and later sold one of its divisions to Hanwha Techwin.

After login into the DVR, make sure to update the firmware; after the first login, the DVR will ask you to create a new password. Make sure you use a strong one as described in the article Safe CCTV camera password.
