Dahua VTO Default Password
Old Dahua VTO devices use the username: admin and default password: admin . You can find the camera in the network with its default IP: 192.168.1.110.
New devices don't come with a default password and you just need to create one yourself during the installation process, other than that, there's a list of password for different versions of the Dahua VTO intercom.

Here's the credentials that usually work for the first and second generation of the Dahua VTO video intercom.
- 123456 (digi123456 for some specific models)
- 888888

Dahua VTO Password Reset
It's possible to reset the Dahua VTO station via web interface.
Use the QR Code available in the device to start the password recovery process.
Here's the step-by-step
- Open the device's login interface
- Click "Forgot Password"
- Wait for the QR code to appear
- Use your mobile phone to scan the QR code
- Check your mailbox to get the security code
- Use the security code to reset the password
It's necessary to have your email registered into the system to receive the security code. Make sure you are using the same email that was used during the first setup.
Sometimes you find a model with a reset button available under the unit back cover; if that's the case just press and hold the button for 20 seconds and power the device. It will reset the password to factory default.
And that's it. Now you can login again 🙂
