1 Plug the DVR to your router or cable modem
2 Get dynamic DNS from no-ip
3 Use the hostname you signed up for at no-ip and place the hostname in the address bar
Outcome no1: You were lucky and it worked
Outcome no2: It did not work and you need to call support to tell you how to do it

You will need a static IP address to help you out with this. I would put up a hardware firewall if I were you so other people on the net can’t find your camera’s and view them when you are at home. This will make it safer.

In order to get a static ip for your Internet line with the CCTV connected to it, you can get it free from this site
