So... you're saying that:
1. Your friend was involved in a brawl outside a club. Someone got their jaw broken, everyone else got minor injuries
2. Your friend has been arrested and charged with GBH, and bailed for a court appearance on the 19th?

I assume that it is alleged that it was your friend who broke the victim's jaw, as cuts and bruises are unlikely to amount to GBH - more likely ABH or Battery.
It sounds difficult to prove who struck the jaw-breaking blow, but it might be alleged that your friend and the others on his "side" were sufficiently "in it together" to be guilty together, and therefore that it doesn't matter who struck the blow as they were all involved.
The best course is to get legal aid, get advice and follow it.
On the brief facts it's not possible to geuss at sentence. Even qualified lawyers are very hesitant about estimating sentence - it depends heavily on circumstances and on the personal circumstances of the defendant.
